this part actually made me tear up a little, and I hardly ever cry at media, because Mercury’s seiyuu sounded so… hurt and confused.  She didn’t react with anger or go on the defensive - there was just utter, vulnerable shock.  “Wh— why this all of a sudden? You guys…? Did I— Did I do something…?” and her eyes filled with tears.

Just the way a sweet young girl would feel if their precious, precious friends suddenly started saying mean things to their face.

Shit, I’ve felt that you.  You’ve felt that way.  This really really hit a nerve.  Probably with viewers, too, considering the target audience.
